Obituary
Dale, 77, lost his fight with Parkinson's Disease and died on October 15, 2021. He was born in Shreveport, La. on April 27, 1944. Dale retired as Fremont County Sheriff, moving up the ranks being elected twice. He was a teacher and coach. Dale graduated from Durango H.S. where he played football and wrestled. He then graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, where he also played football. Dale and his wife, Juli, ran the Texas Creek Trading Post were successful in getting a post office at Texas Creek in 1983. Dale jumped at Missoula 1967-70.
