Bob died March 8, 2002, in Everett, Washington at the age of 65. He was born in Philipsburg, Montana, and was a graduate of the University of Montana. Bob retired in 1994 as Deputy Regional Commissioner for the Social Security Administration after a 34 year-career with the agency. Bob was president and founder of the Northwest Social Security Alumni Association and served on the Business Advisory Council for the Handicapped. He also was AARP's Washington Start communications coordinator in 1997. Bob jumped at Missoula during the 1958 season.
