Dan died September 22, 2005, at his home in Oroville, Washington. He jumped at NCSB from 1958-60 and at Fairbanks from 1962-65. Dan served in the Army in Germany and worked for several years on the North Slope Oil Fields. He then worked as a professional hunting guide in Alaska for many years before retiring to Oroville
