Obituary
Sgt. Ben McFadgen, 32, died of injuries received in an auto accident August 7, 1972, at El Paso, Colorado. He was born April 22, 1940, in Missoula, Montana, and attended school in Stevensville, graduating from Stevensville H.S. He joined the Navy in 1957-59, before jumping at Missoula during the 1960 season. Ben then joined the National Guard in Hamilton before entering the regular Army in July of 1964. He served four years in Germany and a year in Vietnam and was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado at the time of his death.
