Obituary

Reed, 72, passed away November 17, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio. He retired from Ohio State University, where he was a professor in Agricultural Economics. He was also employed by both Utah State and The Pennsylvania State Universities. In the late 1960, he was a manager in the Monsanto Company. Reed got his BA from Brigham Young University, MS from Utah State and PhD from Penn State. From 1959-64 he was a research assistant at Utah State, USAF 1961-62,1966-71 USDA,1971-91 Professor Ohio State. He served in the U.S. Air Force National Guard for 8 years, including 2 years of active duty, almost 1 year in Germany during the Berlin Crisis of 1951-1962. Reed jumped at Missoula 1953-54.
