Abstract
This document applied to a portion of Section 21 of Township 25 North, Range 44 East of the Willamette Meridian in Spokane County, Washington. Alvin E. Clark was the grantor when the deed was filed and Garner Coon the grantee.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
No person of any race other than the Caucasian race shall use or occupy any building or any part thereof on said lot, except that this covenant shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of another race domiciled with an owner or tenant.
