Abstract
This document applied to lot 4 of block 2 of Sunset View Addition in Spokane County. Rodney Shoen was the grantor when the deed was filed and E. G. Shoen the grantee.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
No person of any race other than the Caucasian race shall use or occupy any building or any part of thereof on said lot, except that this covenant shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of another race domiciled with an owner or tenant.
