Abstract
This document applied to lot 11 on block 41 of East Audubon Park in Spokane. William Liers was the grantor when the deed was filed and John E. Somers the grantee.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
This conveyance is made and accepted upon the condition that no race or nationality other than the white race shall use or occupy any building on the above described property, except this covenant shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of a different race or nationality employed by an owner or tenant.
