A group portrait of the smokejumper crew based in the Silver City base in New Mexico. The crew members are dressed in jump gear. The photograph is taken in front of an aircraft. The namse of the crew members are typed below the portriat (L-R): Orzo Black (Jumper); Dewey Secrist (Jumper); Jack Wall (Jumper); Fred Barnowsky (Leader); Ed Scholz (Pilot); Art Cochran (Foreman); Wally Dobbins (Jumper); Grover Tyler (Jumper); Berle Davis (Jumper).
