Description
Portraits of smokejumpers from the Alaska smokejumper base. The jumpers are Orville Looper, Phil Clarke, Steve Daniels, Ray Schenck, Roy Percival, Jim Black, Tim Koester, John Stewart, Bill Robertson, Dan Percival, Lyle Haugraven, Walt Vennum, Larry Welch, Tom Butler, Larry Cravens, Tom Moe, Larry Peters, Ron Lund, Dave Pierce, Terry Reece, Bill Arpino, Greg West, Jerry Puller, Stan Hermens, Cliff Persons, Terry Jensen, Don Wahl, Bill Miller, Owen Riffe, Gary White, Crawford Holmes, Bob Webber, Doug Baird, Dave Ferguson, and Larry Vincent. The portraits were pieced together using Adobe Photoshop from portraits taken of a larger photo board delivered by Mike McMillan of the National Smokejumper Association. The arrangement of photographs may differ from the original.
