Description
A scene from the opening game of the 1915 baseball season of the Northwestern League. The game was between the Spokane Indians and the Aberdeen Black Cats at Recreation park, Spokane, Washington. At the center we can see a runner from the Aberdeen team in gray uniform who has just scored. The umpire, to the right in black uniform, Pearl Casey, is signaling the score to Aberdeen. Spokane Indians catcher, Olaf Selmar “Sam” Brenegan, is to the left.
