Abstract
This article provides a brief overview of an experiment at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation called the "Green Run" where intentional radiation releases from the nuclear plant simulated spread from releases from Soviet plutonium plants. The article also describes the impact on people living downwind from Hanford.
