CR-360 Parachute Practice Jump Photographs
This collection consists of Ted Corporandy's photographs of CR-360 parachute practice jumps at McCall Smokejumper Base. The parachute was approved for use by the Bureau of Land Management in 2010 and was in use by smokejumpers in Alaska years before that. The rectangular parachutes allow jumpers to cover more distance and make greater adjustments in the air. The photographs were taken in 2018 when the CR-360 had recently been introduced to McCall Smokejumper Base through the United States Forest Service Ram-Air program.
