Artist Statement
We all face individual crises that change the course of our lives as we make choices to navigate through those challenges.
This artwork series highlights, explores, and exposes the crises that I am currently contending with. A continuous push and pull between the inner forces of light, positivity, and love- versus darkness, destruction, and anger are present in these works. There is no lesson here, no larger societal problem to be tackled, just an exposure of my personal tragedies, and the choice to see beauty in the ordinary despite those challenges.
