Abstract
Load balancers play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Internet; however, research in this field lacks organization and consistency. Comparative studies and performance measurements between different load balancers are notably scarce. To address these gaps, I propose a framework designed for rapid prototyping and testing of load balancing strategies. This paper reviews existing literature on load balancers and presents a framework for standardized load balancer evaluation.
