Abstract
Course project for EENG 461: Embedded Systems Design. Fully automated pet feeder dispensing food & water. Uses a number of sensors and actuators to ensure the pet is fed in programmable intervals and its water remains full. The project was programmed in C using a Tiva C microcontroller. The sensors include: water level sensors and 1 ultrasonic sensor. The user controls the timing for the food with buttons and a potentiometer. A display makes controlling the timer user-friendly. The water level sensors communicate with an electronic valve to fill the pet's water bowl.
