Abstract
Small and micro-scale bakeries often rely on manual, fragmented processes—such as spreadsheets, handwritten notes, or ad-hoc communication to manage recipes, ingredient costs, and daily production workflows. These methods are time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to scale as a bakery grows. My Bake Basket addresses this problem by providing a centralized mobile platform that streamlines recipe management, cost calculation, and operational organization for small baking businesses. My Bake Basket is a cross-platform mobile application developed using Flutter and Firebase. The system supports secure user authentication, recipe creation and sharing, ingredient-level cost analysis, and workflow tools designed specifically for small-scale bakery operations. Cloud-based data storage enables real-time access and updates across devices, while a clean, intuitive user interface prioritizes usability for non- technical users. The intended outcome of My Bake Basket is to reduce operational overhead, improve cost visibility, and help small bakeries make more informed production and pricing decisions, ultimately supporting efficiency, consistency, and sustainable business growth.
