Abstract
The EWU Research and Creative Works (R&CW) Web Project aims to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and engagement of Eastern Washington University’s research and creative scholarship. As research and creative activities continue to expand across disciplines, there is an increasing need for a centralized digital platform that effectively communicates these efforts to students, faculty, researchers, and the broader community. This project presents the development of a stable, user-friendly web hub that consolidates resources related to research and creative works at EWU. The platform features dedicated sections highlighting creative works, active research laboratories and programs, the EWU Research and Creative Works Symposium, upcoming academic events, and funding opportunities available to both faculty and students. It also provides links to key campus resources for students, including the Library, Writers’ Center, MESA, McNair, PLUS, and other support programs. The website further showcases R&CW news and achievements, promoting awareness of ongoing projects and institutional impact. In addition, the platform integrates a filterable search interface connected to EWU Digital Commons, enabling users to easily discover scholarly publications and research outputs. By organizing these resources in a single accessible location, the project supports research engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and broader dissemination of EWU’s intellectual contributions.
