Ladd Sutton was born on March 11, 1926, in Arco, Idaho. He married Marion "Marney" Hazel Olsen on February 26, 1955, in Portland, Oregon. They had four children during their marriage. He died on April 17, 1989, in Eugene, Oregon, at the age of 63. In 1947, he is in the yearbook at the University of Idaho. Ladd jumped at McCall 1948-50.
