Don died April 17, 1990, of malignant melanoma. He was a resident of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Don was born June 23, 1915 and drafted into Civilian Public Service in 1945 from Scarborough, New York. He jumped at McCall during the 1945 season and got seven fire jumps during that season.
