Obituary

Richard, 84, died August 30, 2004, in Crystal, Minnesota. He was born June 29, 1920, in Sublette, Kansas and was a Quaker. Richard was drafted into Civilian Public Service in 1943 from Denver, Colorado, where his occupation was listed as "Salesman." He jumped at Missoula during the 1945 season and had seven training and four fire jumps. After the war he married Jean Hayes in 1948. His occupation was in the printing industry and is listed as "Press Operator."
