Obituary
Jim, 77, died April 10, 2024, in Bemidji, Minnesota. He was born February 13, 1947, in Fargo, North Dakota, and raised in Bemidji where he graduated from high school in 1965. Jim graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served in the Army in Vietnam as a combat engineer earning the Bronze Star. In 1979 he founded Haack Engineering in Bemidji and operated that business until his retirement in 2005. Jim jumped at Missoula 1967-69.
