Robert died July 26, 2015, and was born July 2, 1924, in Eureka, Montana. He served in the Army in Europe during WWII and jumped at Missoula during the 1947 season while he was a student at the University of Montana where he graduated in 1950 with a degree in Forestry. He worked in the forest industry for 40 years retiring as Rocky Mountain Area Resource Manager for the Stone Container Corporation in Flagstaff, Arizona.
