Dean, 37, died March 10, 1988. He was born December 19, 1950, in Bend, Oregon. He grew up in Redmond where he graduated from high school. Dean graduated from Oregon State with a degree in Forestry. He purchased land and built a log house. He took his life on his property. Dean jumped at Redmond 1974, 77-87, and in Alaska 1975-78.
