Obituary

Jack passed away August 14, 2004, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1927, in White Sulfur Springs, Montana. In 1945 he joined the Navy after graduating mid-term from high school. Jack later received his college degree in Animal Husbandry and jumped at Missoula for three seasons. At the end of the 1950 season, Jack and Jim Brown (MSO-46) arrived in Fairbanks with no jobs and "one silver dollar between them." That began his 54-year life in the land he loved. Jack worked for Alaska airlines retiring as station manager in Fairbanks in 1990.
