Bob, 24, died June 23, 1959, in the crash of a Twin Beech dropping cargo on the Eight Mile Fire out of Winthrop. He was the Winthrop District's timber sales officer at the time and was riding in the copilots seat. Bob was born January 29, 1934, in Cook County, Illinois. He jumped the 1957-58 seasons at NCSB.
