Obituary
Mike, 66, died November 3, 2001, in Enumclaw, WA of renal cancer. He was born October 6, 1937, in Tacoma, Washington. Mike jumped Missoula 1956 and 1960, Grangeville 1958, and Fairbanks 1959. Mike lived a great life with his spouse Leslie who he married in 1965. The had two children Jodie (Arlington) and Mark (Stanwood). Mike was a gifted athlete and loved the "woods" and his family. His brother Tom was also a smokejumper at Missoula. Mike was employed by "Western Gear Corp" for his entire career. Mike has a lot of friends who miss him deeply.
