Abstract
This document applied to a lot at the following area based on the Willamette Meridian: Section 17, Township 25, Range 44, E1/2 of NW1/4 of NW 1/4 of SE1/4. Joseph Retzel was the grantor when the deed was filed and the grantee was Edgar Strang.
Racist and exclusionary language written into the deed is:
No persons of any race other than the white race shall use or occupy any building upon said premises except that his covenant shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of a different race domiciled with an owner or tenant.
