In 1933 the Manual Arts Department was renamed the Industrial Arts Department. The Industrial Arts Department existed through 1966-67 when it was renamed the Department of Industrial Education and Technology (beginning with the 1967-68 catalog). Beginning with the 1983-85 catalog, the Department of Industrial Education and Technology became the Department of Technology.
