Description
Spokane's Union Station shortly after its construction. Union Station was built when the Union Pacific Railroad connected to Spokane in 1915. The station was located between the Spokane River and Front Street (now Spokane Falls Boulevard). The station was demolished for Expo '74. When Riverfront Park was renovated in 2016, an archaeological dig was conducted in the area of the station with a detailed report by Ashley Morton.
