Description
Workers shore up the north bank of the Spokane River by laying fill along the bank. Railroad cars filled with earth are lined up along the bank. A car toward the center of the photograph dumps dirt down the bank and a worker with a hose wets down the fill. The Monroe Street Bridge is visible in the background.
