Abstract
The focus of the study was on the progression, presentation, and etiology of cerebrospinal meningitis. Additionally, the research was conducted to develop understanding of spinal, neural, and tissue anatomy. Histology slides, microscopes, medical websites, images, and histology books were utilized in order to develop an appreciation of cerebrospinal meningitis. The central concern of the project was how meningitis is spread, in addition to comparing and contrasting the appearance of normal meninges with meninges that indicate the presence of meningitis.
