Abstract
Bulimic symptomatology was examined in 478 female college students who lived either on or off campus and who were sorority members or nonmembers. Sorority women reported greater bulimic symptomatology than nonsorority women. Feeling campus pressure to be thin and knowing women who binged and purged predicted greater bulimic symptomatology.
