Photograph of several construction workers installing the carved "lion" chimera on the gallery rail of St. John's Cathedral in Spokane, Washington. Lifting crane shown as well. The chimera is an ornamental sculpture similar to a gargoyle.

Photographer believed to be the building's architect, Harold C. Whitehouse, but may have been one or more employees of the firm Whitehouse and Price.
