Description
This issue of the Easterner contains articles about a strategic plan called EWU 2000, Associated Students (ASEWU) election results, the first meeting of the Joint Center for Higher Education, a defamation lawsuit filed by physics professor Earl Forsman against fellow professor Daniel Long, a recent spate of attacks against women attending Washington State University, funding challenges for the Robert Reid school, the selection of the choir called EWU Collegians to perform in Anaheim, California, a shortage of computers for the computer science department, Halley's Comet, physics professor and avid cook Jim Marshall, Eastern's homecoming victory over the University of Montana, and the volleyball and wrestling seasons.
