Description
This issue of the Easterner contains articles about a vote by the Faculty Senate calling for President Frederickson's resignation, cuts to funding for the Robert Reid school, a project to improve energy efficiency in campus buildings, crime in dorms, a meeting organized by the Young Republicans about national debt, a local musical troupe called ENCORE!, study abroad support from the Center for Extended Learning, Spokane mayor Vicki McNeill, Salvadoran student Jose Rodolfo Rosales, the Associated Students (ASEWU) elections, Eastern student Greg Jones who is on pace to graduate by the age of 18, administrator Ken Dolan, and the football, volleyball, wrestling, and cross country seasons.
