Joe, 91, died May 16, 2017, in Tacoma, Washington. He graduated with a degree in agriculture from Washington State University. Joe was a career Forester and worked for the State Dept. of Natural Resources, USFS, Soil Conservation Service and the Washington State University Extension Center. Joe enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1944 and followed with his education at Washington State University where he got his degree . He jumped at North Cascades 1947-50.
