Art, 89, of La Grande, Oregon, died November 25, 2016. He was born March 25, 1927, in Dodge, Iowa. He enlisted in the Navy and served as a printer on his ship. After the Navy, Art attended college in Iowa and Utah, graduating as a forester. He enlisted in the Air Force reserve and served as a recruiter ending his career as a Lt. Colonel. Art jumped at McCall 1951-52 seasons and made 11 fire jumps.
