Obituary
Ozzie, 91, died February 13, 2024, in his home in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. He was born November 13, 1932, in Kahoka, Missouri. Ozzie graduated from Toluca H.S. (Illinois) in 1950 and Colorado State in 1955 with a degree in Forestry. After serving as a Lt. in the Army for two years, he spent 31 years working for the USFS as a Forester. Ozzie jumped at Missoula in 1954 and 1957. After his retirement from the Forest Service, he managed his private forest land and was on the board of directors of the Idaho Forest Owners Association. Ozzie was active in the First Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir for over 50 years.
