John died March 31, 2024. He was born May 26, 1940, in Seattle, Washington. John served in the Marines where he was stationed at NAS, Seattle and was honorably discharged in 1966. Throughout his life he plied his skills in the transportation industries of Air, Rail and Trucking. John met the love of his life and was married on July 17, 1999, to Anita. John flew smokejumpers for the Johnson Flying Service.
