Richard died June 26, 2004. He jumped at Missoula in 1952 and 1953 and was an NSA member. Richard was born Aug 27, 1932, in St. Croix Falls and graduated from high school in St. Croix Falls. He attended Montana State University and Oregon State University for forestry and engineering. Richard then worked as a professional engineer for the Forest Service. He married Linda Louise Fesler. She preceded him in death in 1972. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War.
