Del, 29, died October 17, 1973, in a tractor roll-over accident on the family orchard in Oroville, Washington. He was born April 28, 1944, in Tonasket, Washington. Del was a teacher at Oroville Jr. H.S. and a graduate of Washington State University with a bachelor’s in Education. Before teaching, he had work for a time for the U.S. Customs at the Canadian Border near Oroville. Del jumped at NCSB 1966-69 and 1972.
