Frank died when his private plane crashed on April 15th, 1988,in Deer Lodge, Montana. He was 46 years old. He graduated from Claremore High School in 1959 and attended OSU for a few years. He is survived by his two daughters, Melodie and Denise. He is also survived by his two brothers Ed and Don and his sister, Louetta. Frank and Jim Cyr designed the FS-12 parachute. He was a smokejumper for 24 years.
