Description
Photograph of a Newspaper Committee meeting at Martin Laboratory School. Five students sit or stand around a table in front of scattered papers. The girl on the left of the image seems to be copying something handwritten with a typewriter. The girl next to her is writing on paper, and the girl in the middle seems to be tracing something on a black slate. The boy next to her uses scissors and the student at the end of the table may be binding pages. Behind them is a board with newspaper subjects like "Sports," "Room News," "Fun," and "General" with ideas/stories under each heading. The back of the physical image reads, "Representative from all age groups meet every week to publish the Laboratory School Journal... Full responsibility is taken for checking language efforts, making up the 'dummy,' assisting in stencil cutting and mimeographing."
