This issue includes articles about two Eastern students saved from their burning apartment by a dog named Mingo, topics discussed at the Board of Trustees meeting including discussion of the Alumni Association, the Chicano Youth and Educators Institute held on campus, discrimination charges in relation to faculty promotion, English Department student assistant Mark Mundinger, a student production of "And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little," Bob Hope, runners Bob Maplestone and Rick Hebron, horse races at Playfair, and the recovery of student Robert Revier's body from the Spokane River. This issue is part of volume 24, even though it is mistakenly listed as volume 25.
