Abstract
In Kingston's letter to his mother, he describes his current activities in Thisancourt, France, where he visitted a French normal school for men. He also provides his mother a recipe for café au lait and describes an egg pie called "geuche" (mispelled?). This letter was sent from Thisancourt, France.
